About me

A seasoned (senior)manager with 20+ years of experience, organized and responsible for all aspects that come with a managers role. In regards to dive industry experience, 15+ years as an active PADI/TECREC instructor and TDI/SDI Instructor Trainer, teaching recreational, technical and equipment courses at both diver and instructor levels.

Dutch is my native language, in English highly proficient and Bahasa Indonesia in good working knowledge. I am based in Indonesia, Jakarta to be precise and open for a change in work.

    I chose to do my MBA, as it reflects the international marketplace by combining the latest in management theory with the practical skills that I wanted to learn, crucial skills in leadership, critical thinking, and project planning. In this comprehensive programme I explored and studied the fundamentals such as finance, strategic management, operations management, and marketing. It enriched my learning experience, discipline, encouraged new perspectives, developed new skills and allowed me to share and foster new cross-cultural business perspectives. I continued with my industry-related specialization: Management Consulting, which gave me additional skills a (management) consultant needs to have, ranging from analytical to project management to relational skills, and evaluating client capabilities and business opportunities. The final part of my programme involved a research project - which included writing a dissertation.

Our marketed products are used by a variety of industry sectors, including commercial/industrial (power generation), utilities, mining, refineries, petrochemical and transit.
    The daily responsibilities are managing of and an advising role to all the department managers; from (after)sales (5 fte), projects (8 fte), IT (1 fte), accounting (2 fte), facility (1 fte), expediting (1 fte) and HR (1 fte) in regards to their work. Responsible for daily operations, establish organizational objectives/goals for all departments and review/implement modern management practices/procedures, concerning finance, strategy, sales, HSE, personnel, IT, reporting systems, business development, partnerships, customer-supplier relations, and company expansion.
