Dive Center Manager and Instructor Couples

Phi Phi Island, Thailand

Blacktip Scuba is a boutique dive centre situated on the tranquil side of Phi Phi Island. Known for our personalized service, we cater primarily to entry-level divers, fun divers, and those seeking continuing education. Our facility includes a specially designed dive pool, a speedboat, and traditional long-tail boats.

Responsibilities:

– Dive Instruction: Conduct entry-level courses, fun dives, and continuing education programs.

– Management: Oversee daily operations, and accounting, ensuring the dive centre runs smoothly and efficiently.

– Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

– Sales & Marketing: Manage social media accounts, update our WordPress website, develop marketing strategies to attract new clients, and write engaging blog posts about our activities and dive experiences.

– Administration: Utilize Excel for scheduling, inventory management, and other administrative duties.

– In-water Duties: Participate in dives and be actively involved in the water activities alongside the dive team.

– Teamwork: Assist with loading and unloading boats, and contribute to all aspects of daily operations as part of a small, collaborative team.

Requirements:

– Languages: Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is mandatory. Proficiency in French or German is highly preferred. Additional languages are a plus.

– Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, social media platforms, WordPress, and blog writing.

– Experience: Previous experience in dive instruction and management is desirable.

– Personality: Strong interpersonal skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to work well within a small team.

– Physical Fitness: Must be physically capable of performing in-water duties regularly and assisting with loading and unloading boats.
