Job description:
We are looking for a permanent member of our instructor staff. The tasks consist of training activities as well as guiding dives. All basic teaching is done on our local beach combined with teaching from our boat when required.

As we aim for close interaction with our customers, teaching is done in very small groups All dive excursions are done by boat. Access to the boat is directly from the centre. Besides teaching and guiding we expect the candidate to assist in the daily dive centre operations as well as in the customer pick-up service. All new staff members are coached/trained in the procedures for the centre operations such as cylinder filling, compressor handling, equipment storage, customer administration and logistics planning.

About us:
We are located in the Time Share Resort Anfi Del Mar in the south of Gran Canaria. As a small family-run dive centre we strongly focus on offering a great experience to both our students and divers. This includes small groups, a strong focus on safety and attention for both our customers and staff. In the end, diving must be fun for everyone.

Directly in front of the dive centre we have a small private marina. From here we conduct daily boat excursions to about 30 different dive sites. Small electric cars are used to transport the dive equipment from and to the boat.

The resort has one of the most beautiful beaches in the south. We have the luxury of using this protected area for our starter courses. Also in teaching, we focus on safety and customer intimacy. As such we teach in small groups of a maximum 2 students per instructor.

Job responsibilities:
The candidate must be able to work in a small team and be open to learning and adapting to the work environment. Ideally, the candidates have experience interacting with customers of different nationalities and backgrounds.

Must have a European passport and be fluent in English.
