**Job Responsibilities:**

As a Scuba Instructor at Adventure Scuba, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests’ safety, enjoyment, and education during their diving experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include:

**Conducting Diving Courses:** Leading scuba diving courses for beginners, advanced divers, and specialty certifications (PADI or SSI certification required).
**Guided Dives:** Leading guided dives to various dive sites around St. Thomas, showcasing the beauty of the local marine life and underwater landscapes.
**Ensuring Safety:** Prioritizing the safety of guests by adhering to all diving industry safety standards and protocols.
**Customer Service:** Providing excellent customer service, addressing guests’ questions, and ensuring their overall satisfaction with their diving experience.
**Equipment Maintenance:** Ensuring all scuba equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and in good working condition.
**Environmental Conservation:** Promoting responsible diving practices and fostering environmental awareness among guests to protect the fragile marine ecosystems.
**Requirements:**

To be considered for the Scuba Instructor position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR HOLD A VALID WORK VISA

**Certification:** PADI Scuba Instructor certification.
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scuba Instructor, conducting courses and leading guided dives.
**First Aid/CPR:** Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
**Passion for Diving:** A genuine passion for scuba diving and a strong desire to share that passion with others.
**Communication Skills:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds.
**Team Player:** Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other resort staff.
**Language:** Proficiency in English (additional languages, especially Spanish, is a plus).
