Job Description

Hello from the Sindbad Dive Club team!

We are a PADI 5-star IDC Resort located inside the Berenice Beach Club in South Beach, Aqaba-Jordan. We are right in the heart of the marine park with our in-house dive site. We dive all year round with high season running from approximately April until November. The rest of the year is quieter but adventurous tourists still come for a dive or two.

We are looking for PADI Scuba Instructors to join our team as soon as possible.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals, with the ability to work in teams, with a strong sense of security, with high-risk management and customer satisfaction, assiduous and punctual, and flexible in the tasks to be performed, as well as flexible in working hours.

Requirements:

  • PADI OWSI-EFR is in active status.
  • Professional + medical dive insurance.
  • Fluent in English (other languages a plus).
  • Instructor specialities: wreck, night, nitrox, deep.

Responsibilities:

As a team we carry on the day-to-day responsibilities and all kinds of common logistical tasks to ensure the smoothest running of the operations.

Such responsibilities include but are not be limited to:

  • Welcome customers and help with registration and orientation.
  • Leading certified divers, teaching PADI courses and carrying on occasional try-dives and supervising snorkelers.
  • Act as boat masters, on a rotation basis, supervising divers and boat operations.
  • General routine cleaning and maintenance of the dive center.

Benefits:

Fixed/basic monthly salary of 550USD (390JOD)
Commissions on PADI courses.
Commissions on sales.
