Ati Divers is looking to hire a second instructor. Situated in the Guatemalan Highlands, Lake Atitlan offers a unique location and challenges for any instructor. From buoyancy control in the incredible, high altitude, freshwater lake to group control in limited visibility, Ati Divers is a great place to gain experience and expand your diving horizons. 

Ati Divers is located inside of La Iguana Perdida Hostel in Santa Cruz la Laguna. It is a small town accessible only by boat that does not have many modern conveniences readily available. For the right candidate, however, anything you need is not too far away.

We are looking for a PADI OWSI with fluent English, preferably also Spanish. In-water duties will range at every level from DSD to Rescue/EFR. Ati Divers adheres to the highest industry standards and expects each course to be conducted accordingly. Out-of-water duties can include filling tanks; cleaning, organizing and maintaining equipment, and helping out around the hostel. As such we are looking for someone who looks around and sees where a hand can be lent as opposed to where someone else´s job is. Most bookings are made online in advance, but a definite bonus is someone who has no problem hanging around the hostel and getting people talking about diving.

All dives and courses are paid out on a competitive commission basis. Free housing is provided in a staff dormitory. Meals at the restaurant are also covered and all drinks are half off.

This is a perfect opportunity for a young OWSI travelling through Central America to pick up a bit of cash and certs, and a heap of quality experience.
