PADI Female Russian-speaking Dive Instructor

Job Description

To guide and teach all certified divers and students according to PADI and Resort standards.

Qualities & Qualification:
• Minimum PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor with renewed membership in an active teaching status
• Emergency First Response Instructor
• Knowledge about equipment maintenance
• Computer skills, Microsoft word, excel and power point, Internet browser and e‐mail
• Professional role model
• Must be able to make a maximum of 3 dives a day.
• Must be able to deal with fellow employees in a calm and professional manner.

• Must speak a minimum of two foreign languages
• To be able to fill AIR and Nitrox
• To care for, maintain and service the dive centre equipment when needed.
• Sales and marketing
• Customer service

Major Responsibilities:
• To conduct PADI courses of all levels in a professional and friendly manner in compliance with the PADI standards and regulations.
• To guide divers of different levels to the sites around the area.
• To man the dive reception making guest reservations, divers registrations and issuing of dive equipment.
• To prepare the gear for the students and boat divers always prior to the guest’s arrival.
• To attend the dive centre briefings daily.
• To attend guest parties or gatherings organized by diveOceanus.
• To support and participate in Project AWARE projects organized by diveOceanus

Specific Responsibilities and Tasks:
• To load/unload the dive tanks, and dive bags from the dive boat before and after the dive.
• To carry the tanks and dive bags to and from the dive centre to the dive jetty.
• Deep clean all the dive equipment as per the cleaning schedule.
• To assist with water and draining the dive centre’s wet floor daily.
• As a PADI member abides by all the requirements and intent of all PADI standards and procedures as published in the PADI Instructor Manual, Training bulletins and other updates while conducting PADI courses and other programs.
• Conduct yourself and your PADI‐ related activities in a professional manner.
• Comply with the intent of the PADI standard “Safe diving practices statement of understanding” while acting in a teaching or supervisory capacity.
• Not wrongfully disparage diveOceanus and the PADI organization, PADI members or any other dive industry professionals.
• Cooperate during any investigations by responding fully and promptly to any inquiries.
• Comply with Resort Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth by the company.
• Abide Resort standards
• Follow the general working condition of diveOceanus Standard Operating Procedures
