The East Coast Divers’ mission is to support the New England Dive Community with expert knowledge, service, and community development. We offer a full range of courses from Scuba Explorers to Pro training.

Are you a scuba instructor looking to provide quality scuba training with low student ratios? We’re looking for you! We’re looking for SSI Assistant Instructors or OWSIs or instructors from other agencies interested in a crossover to join our team!

East Coast Divers is expanding our programming and we need assistant instructors and instructors. ECD is a busy dive centre providing equipment, training and travel opportunities for our customers. We pride ourselves on offering low student-to-instructor ratios (1:5 max for Open Water courses, typically 1:4) and teaching students to be competent, confident divers who are able to move through the water with ease and control their buoyancy effortlessly. Local divers and resort operators regularly comment on the skills and comfort of the students they see that were trained by ECD, and our students rave about our programs and instructional team.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and flexible people who enjoy teaching in the pool and open water environments in a team teaching environment. We offer a full range of courses from kids‘ pool programs to professional training. We teach programs at local colleges and high schools as well. Our courses are scheduled primarily on weekends, so regular weekend availability is important, though there are some opportunities for teaching during the week as well.

Enthusiastic, reliable, and willing to teach buoyancy and trim as primary skills.
