Dive Staff Needed in Grand Cayman

An award-winning dive shop and resort on the East End of Grand Cayman, is looking for staff. Although experience working in the dive industry is a huge bonus, we value candidates who are hard-working and with a good attitude. We are a busy dive centre with a fantastic reputation and we are looking for great people to help us deliver our product.

Our working environment is challenging at times, but hugely rewarding. A ‘can-do’ mentality, a willingness to learn, and staying cool under pressure are extremely valuable assets. Being a people person is essential as a great relationship with our customers has always been the key to our success. A huge part of our customer base is repeat customers, and they come back for a good reason.

You will be expected to learn to drive our smaller boats early on and run trips independently, so previous boat handling experience is a plus but not strictly necessary as on-the-job training will be given.

We also ask for candidates to have a full driving license and be comfortable with manual transmission vehicles, have no criminal record, and all candidates must be fully vaccinated due to work permit requirements. Candidates need to be at least OWSI with a Nitrox Instructor rating. Additional instructor ratings, experience driving boats, servicing equipment, or teaching swimming will give you an advantage. We are looking for staff to work a 15-month contract with an initial three-month trial period.

East End is the quieter end of the island but we are not particularly remote. It’s only about 45 minutes to George Town and Seven Mile Beach and less if you decide to live in Bodden Town or closer. East End is an authentic Caribbean village that feels untouched with a few nice restaurants and bars, quiet beaches, and a very laid-back atmosphere.

We are looking for candidates to start work as soon as possible. Although there are potentially several positions available for the right candidates, due to scheduling issues we are not looking for couples at this time.
