MARINE BIOLOGIST / DIVE INSTRUCTOR
Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Marine Biologist (min. BSc) who is also a Dive Instructor to join our Dive, Excursions and Water Sports Team on a 5 Star Luxury Resort in the Maldives.
This is not a research or educational post, but an active in-water position. This position is available from November 2023.
YOU SHOULD BE:
Fluent in English, and any other language will be an added advantage.
A PADI Dive Instructor or higher in teaching status.
A qualified Marine Biologist. (min. BSc), OR 2 years of experience in coral nurseries or farming is a plus.
Should have a minimum of 1 year of working experience as a dive professional.
Extremely well groomed and interested in learning and participating in other activities such as Water Sports.
Enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated, flexible, and friendly.
Sales and Guest Orientated.
If you have any tattoos or piercings, they should not be visible if you are wearing a T-shirt and shorts.
WE OFFER:
An attractive package which includes a basic salary, commission on gross revenue and service charge.
An eleven-month contract.
A flight allowance. (Upon completion of your contract)
Accommodation on twin twin-sharing basis.
All meals are free of charge.
