Job Description
PADI Instructor wanted to join TRACC (Tropical Research and Conservation Centre) Borneo, on Pom Pom island off the coast of Semporna.
We are looking for an instructor to work with us starting in either September or October. Due to the increased amount of volunteers, we need an additional PADI Instructor to join the team.
Since we use Diving as a method to do our work we are looking for a flexible OWSI to do courses (OW-DM) and assist with leading Science/Research/Conservation/Fun dives.
Requirements:
– Able to start either September or October
– English speaking
– Active teaching status
– Dive insurance
– Full set of gear
– Willing to learn about conservation activities
– Minimum commitment 3 months
Please note this is not an average instructing job, we will require the right candidate to also help out with other duties like guiding surveys; coral propagation; and turtle walks when there are no courses to be taught.
