About Candidate

Became a quilified Divemaster May 2023 and then in May 2024 became a Dive Instructor through RAID. Assisted in running of the dive shop getting it ready for the day, making sure it was clean and tidy, assisting clients with their dive gear or if they were hiring dive gear as well as answering any questions that they had, organising dives with not only our centre but other centres as well, planning & leading dives including shark, wreck and reef dives, mainly have teached refreshers and try dives so far but have assisted on many open water courses with other instructors.

Keen to build on my skills, kowledge and teaching level within the diving industry. I’m also very hard working and will help with any jobs that need to get done.

Animal Care and Management Level 3 Extended diploma 2013-2016
Midkent College, Kent, UK

First year studied level 2 Animal Care then for year 2&3 moved up to level 3 to complete an extended diploma in animal care and management, involving a range of subjects from health, behaviour, conservation, biology and aquatics.

Apprenticeship through working at B&Q

Carried out an apprenticeship through work to build my retail knowldge and skill level with rule and regulations within retail and to mainly build my knwledge and skill with customer service to make it the best it can be for customer satisfaction.

Divemaster/ dive instructor April 2023 - September 2024
ScubaCo Dive and Travel

This dive centre is based in South Africa where I interned completing my divemaster and instructor courses. During my time I also assisted in the running of the dive centre, making sure that everything was setup for the day and was kept neat and tidy, cleaning and maintaining dive gear, planning and running of reef, shark and wreck dives, assisted other instructors on courses and taught refreshers and try dives since qualifiying as an instructor.

Volunnteer at Umkhumbi Lodge 2017 - 2018
Umkhumbi Lodge

I joined their wildlife volunteer program that was running at the lodge in South Africa, completing wildlife research from photo id's/ camera traps and pitfall trap surveys to wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, re-wildling and release.
Whilst at the lodge I also helped with guided walks with clients and maintanace with walking trails and client areas.
This programme I completed two 3 month trips from December 2017- February 2018 & August 2018 - October 2018.

RAID Diving Instructor 2024

In May 2024 I completed my RAID Open Circuit Instructor with ScubaCo Dive and Travel and can teach 9 different courses - Try Dive, Open Water, Explorer 30, Advance 35, Deep 40, Master Rescue, Nitrox, First Aid & Oxygen Provider.

Completed my RAID Divemaster with ScubCo Dive and Travel on Aliwal Shoal in May 2023, then contiued to lead dives after.
