I was born in Belgium and have lived in various countries in Europe over the past 25 years, including Switzerland and Spain.

As a father of three daughters, I am nevertheless free to relocate and live anywhere.

I earned my PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification in June 2025, after completing nearly all my PADI training — from Advanced Open Water Diver to OWSI — with Eleuthera Tahiti Diving, a PADI 5* IDC and GOLD Training Center in French Polynesia. This immersive training environment allowed me to develop both technical skills and a guest-focused approach in one of the world’s most inspiring marine settings. I am also a Master Scuba Diver Trainer candidate, working toward specialties in Deep, Drift, Nitrox, Wreck, and Night Diver.

While I have not yet had the opportunity to certify a student, my instructor development emphasised creating safe, engaging, and inspiring learning experiences. I thrive in dynamic, multicultural teams and am eager to share the joy of diving with people — from guiding fun dives to encouraging continuing education.

I am deeply interested in ocean preservation and look forward to becoming more actively involved in marine conservation efforts.
