Job Description

Looking for 4 SSI Professionals to join our team.

Long term- Full time position- On Site. * Female professionals encouraged to apply. *

Conduct Basic Diver and Snorkel Diver programmes, fun dives and training dives as well as SSI courses (As per level).

Deliver clear safety briefings, boat briefings, dive-site briefings, and program briefings.

Follow SSI standards and DIVEIndia SOPs. Work closely in the DIVEResort in the resort premises and cafe to make the overall experience a holistic one for the divers and room guests. Walk-in bookings, active sales for programs and equipment. Take initiative and create, promote, and execute Blue Ocean programs.

Operate according to rostered shifts and complete ground duty tasks. Work professionally in a fast-paced Dive Resort on a slow-paced island.

Job responsibilities:
Preferred but not limited to previous work experience in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands
Experience handling high-volume beginner programs (BD and OWD)
Strong situational awareness and risk management skills
Ability to work independently while respecting team hierarchy
Protect and Respect marine life and actively promote low-impact diving
Communicate calmly with guests under pressure
Priority on safety over EGO.

Should be comfortable receiving feedback, and the want to continuously improve and upskill is imperative.
Active Status, valid insurance, CPR/First Aid/ O2 provider certifications
*Must have own complete dive equipment or willingness to own complete set in the first month of appointment*
Comfortable in currents, surges, and variable visibility.

Required Instructor Qualification:
Dive Guide/Divemaster, Open Water Instructor
Desirable Qualifications:
Diving Equipment Technician, Driving License
