Worked as a general beach worker and later Divemaster between February and July 2019. Beach work entailed beach setup, assisting with boat
launches, cylinder and gear transport, vehicle maintenance, and various other small jobs. Divemaster duties primarily consisted of in-water supervision and group control, as well as site supervision and approval.

Worked as a PADI Instructor and MSDT from August 2019 to March 2020. Trained various DSD, Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, and Deep Dive Specialty divers, as well as sever EFR students. Worked as a Divemaster on various occasions with Coral Divers' sister company Amoray Diving. Stopped work in March 2020 due to company shutting down after the outbreak of Covid.

S
Staff Instructor July 2020 - December 2020
Coral Divers Sodwana Bay, South Africa

Coral Divers reopened during the pandemic on the condition that it remained isolated and only ran courses for people aiming for professional ratings. They needed staff instructors to help not only with courses but also day-to-day operations such as organising cooking and cleaning schedules.

Assisted on two different Instructor Development Courses during this period. Trained 8 people in every course from Open Water certification to Divemaster certification, including EANx and Deep Diving Specialty. Once Covid regulations relaxed, trained a further 4 Divemasters, and various other courses including Open Water courses and Discover Scuba Diving courses. Managed and organised the new divemasters.

D
Dive Instructor October 2022 - Present
Divvetech Grand Cayman

Performed a variety of roles at Divetech. This included:

Instructing: Instructed a variety of courses including Open Water courses, specialty courses, and Divemaster courses. Courses were done both by boat diving and by shore diving.
Customer relations: Was one of two people who were the first point of contact with customers. This included communicating with customers via email, phone messages and phone calls to answer questions, find what customers needed, align their needs with our team’s schedules, and reserve their bookings. This also included organising tech gasses and equipment for tech divers, arranging transport when necessary. This also necessitated a keen eye on the team’s schedule and abilities to know who can take what reservation. Ensured the company’s day-to-day operations were organised correctly and ran smoothly.
Computer expertise: Became the first point of reference for working on any software issues the centre’s PCs may have, as well as setting up new PCs and storefronts where necessary.
Guiding: Guided dives from both boat and shore at a variety of dive sites with groups of up to 10 people alone or up to 16 people with an additional divemaster watching the group from behind or above. This also included crewing 36ft single screw Newton boats.
Retail: Working in the dive shop selling merchandise and assisting customers, helping and tracking shore divers, taking payments, and ensuring all running customer tabs were correct and up to date.
Tank filling: Filled air tanks from a compressor and nitrox tanks from a compressor/membrane system. Blended nitrox tanks for more specific blends of nitrox. Learned how to blend trimix, though never got the opportunity to do so.
Service: Serviced company’s Scubapro Level BCDs, Scubapro MK2 regulator first stages, and Scubapro R190 second stages along with general SPG and inflator hose maintenance. Serviced and cleaned Shearwater Hero valves and visually inspected aluminium tanks.

Point-of-Sale management: In 2025 Divetech had to change their Point-of-Sale system. Spearheaded this project, which included analyzing the new system, migrating and tracking database of customers, their history, their certifications, and their current reservations, as well as the retail and rental inventory and course and dive reservation prices and system. Was the first one to work on the new system and used the system to create ways to mimic some aspects of the older system to ensure smooth financial and operative transition for both the employer and the team while also introducing improvements where possible. Once transition took place, trained the team in how to use the new system, and created the manual for its use which the team still uses today.
