About Candidate
I began scuba diving in 2007, earning my Open Water certification on the Great Barrier Reef. Soon after, I continued my training in Monterey, California, where I completed both my Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver certifications (2007–2008). To further develop my skills, I pursued a Divemaster internship on Roatán Island, Honduras. The dive shop where I trained hired me before I had even finished my program, allowing me to step into a professional role immediately after my DMT training. I went on to work with them for more than a year, gaining extensive hands-on experience guiding dives, running the shop and supporting student training.
Since then, I have continued diving regularly in a wide range of environments — from the kelp forests of Monterey, California (where I live), to the warm waters of Mexico and Honduras, and even the high-altitude depths of Lake Tahoe. These varied experiences have given me adaptability, strong technical skills, and a deep appreciation for the unique challenges and rewards of different dive settings. I bring a calm presence underwater, extensive practical knowledge, and a passion for sharing the underwater world with others.
