Michael Fineberg

I am an enthusiastic diver with great fascination with the marine ecosystems, their inhabitants and their behavior; seeing a well-balanced ecosystem, not an aquarium.

To get my divers more interested in the critters that we see, this is what I like to share and teach: showing and talking about the behaviours and interactions we encounter during the dives.

As an underwater photographer my passion is for macro, and I love capturing living moments and sharing them with a wider audience.

Through photography, and with the help of some truly inspiring divemasters, I’ve become fantastic at spotting and identifying marine life.

For me, pre-dive briefings are for safety and expectations, while post-dive briefings are about discussing all the amazing things we’ve seen.
