Mikaeel Matthews

I am a 28 year old South African dive instructor, currently in the yachting industry.

My first step toward the ocean was through SCUBA where I discovered a deep interest in marine life and ecology, coral to be more specific.

I have trained and gained hands on dive experience in different parts of the world. Managing a marine conservation program in Nosy Be, Madagascar, has been the highlight of my dive career.

I continued to seek more knowledge and skills in the marine industry, to be well rounded on and in the water, which led me to yachting.

Years in the diving and yachting industry, I am no stranger to hard work, ensuring guests are safe, comfortable and depart with unforgettable memories.

I would like to work in an environment where my skills add value, are challenged and have space to grow.
