My name is Millie Wootton, a dedicated PADI MSDT from the UK, with the last 17 years spent exploring and diving throughout Asia. I am reaching out with great enthusiasm for a PADI Instructor position that offers a dynamic blend of teaching and guiding responsibilities.

My journey into the world of diving began when I was just eight years old in Cebu, Philippines. The mesmerizing underwater world captured my heart as I watched my parents dive, and it ignited a lifelong passion within me. For me, scuba diving has always been more than just a sport; it stands for a profound sense of freedom and escape that has been especially meaningful due to a medical condition affecting my limbs. This condition required frequent hospital visits, making diving’s inclusivity and its welcoming nature to all, regardless of age or physical condition, even more significant in my life.

Over the years, I have built a foundation of skills that I believe will contribute significantly to your Dive Centre. My experience as a lifeguard involved managing large groups, overseeing other lifeguards, and ensuring safety, which honed my leadership and organizational skills. My role required meticulous scheduling and email management, and my ability with Microsoft tools further developed in my subsequents roles as a Divemaster and Lifeguard. These experiences have equipped me with the ability to handle diverse responsibilities and collaborate effectively within a team.

Thoughout my time in the professional diving industry, my commitment to this field has been unwavering. Since leaving school, I have devoted myself to advancing my diving skills, pursuing added certifications, and learning from seasoned professionals. My ultimate career goal is to evolve into a Dive Manager, where I can integrate my passion for diving with my skills in leadership and management to create exceptional experiences for guests.
