About Candidate

I’m Simone Alberti. After 14 years as an interior designer, I traded my desk for the ocean, turning a 15-year passion for scuba diving into my full-time career as a PADI MSDT and SSI Open Water Instructor.

I’ve had the opportunity to work in Sardinia (Italy), Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt), the Maldives, and Zanzibar (Tanzania), where I also took on the role of Assistant Base Leader. Beyond teaching, my day-to-day work has included managing boat fleets, maintaining diving equipment, handling retail sales, and assisting with bookings and administration. In everything I do, my main goal is to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

I especially love teaching beginners. I enjoy helping them overcome their fears so they can safely and fully enjoy the underwater world. I teach all levels—from kids taking their first breaths underwater to advanced specialties like Deep, Night, and Navigation—always tailoring my approach to what each student needs.

My teaching style is calm, patient, and always puts safety first. I genuinely love helping people discover the ocean, and I am looking forward to bringing my mix of customer care, operational experience, and pure passion for diving to a new international team.
