Cruise Director for liveaboard

Job Description

We are hiring Cruise Director

• Salary can be negotiated based on performance and experience.
• In Indonesia and Palau

Responsibilities:

1. Manages the dive crew together with Dive Manager. This includes participation in the recruitment process, performance reviews and participating in disciplinary processes.
2. Liaises with the Captain in managing the boat crew’s performance
3. Cooperate with the Local Operations Manager with the necessary information for engineering and service reports as well as provisioning and stock planning
4. Handles the final payment process onboard and hands over complete records to accounts management
5.Ensures that all guest requirements are addressed and the crew provides excellent service throughout all trips
6.Makes sure that the onboard environment is such that the guests can have a memorable trip. This includes cleanliness, food & beverages, entertainment programme and excursions
7.Conducts appropriate briefings as necessary, including General Boat Briefing, Dive Safety Briefing, Dive Site Briefing, Night Dive Briefing, Wreck Briefing, Cabin Briefing, Dinner Briefing, Disembarkation Briefing

Requirements:
– 3 years’ experience in the dive industry.
– 1 year or longer experience working on a liveaboard vessel
– Excellent communications, attention to details & problem solving skills.
– experience in Maldives and Indonesia preferred
– Excellent proficiency in English, with a strong emphasis on English proficiency; proficiency in other languages such as Russian and French is a plus
