Job Description

Hiring A MALE OR FEMALE PADI INSTRUCTOR or a well-rounded Couple for our Bali Operation.

Currently, an award-winning PADI 5-Star IDC Development Centre in Sanur, Bali, is looking for an experienced PADI instructor or a well-rounded couple.

FEMALE INSTRUCTORS:  If you ALSO like Yoga, Surfing, Hiking and being in the middle of the famous Indo-Pacific Biodiversity range that is right on the WALLACE LINE, Bali has all these to offer, then Bali is definitely for you!

Bali has great diving and is in the middle of some of the best diving in the world, namely Raja Ampat, Manado, Pulau Alor, Wakatobi, Sulawesi, Bandar Sea, etc.   Our oceanic Mola2 (giant Sunfish) season is just beginning, and there are the giant Pacific Manta Rays.  Just yesterday, we sighted a very, VERY rare Wobbegong Shark.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU CAN APPLY ONLY IF YOU HAVE ISSUED A MINIMUM OF 20 PADI CERTS  – EXCLUDING DSD.

We have been in Bali for 15 years, and pre-COVID, we were the largest dive school in Bali.  The work involves conducting Marine Conservation classes and appreciation of our coastal areas for divers and non-divers, shark conversation and all aspect of running a dive center including operating air compressors, filling tanks, servicing and maintenance of dive equipment, social media and marketing plus simple bookkeeping, looking after the equipment room, inventory control, maintaining a dive facility, driving guest to and from dive sites (50 to 90Km one way)  etc, dive guiding and teaching PADI courses, which is an integral part of the operation and comprise of about 50% of your work.  In other words, you will have a chance to learn as much as you want from the diving industry.

As is known, diving is great in Bali, and we have over 40  great dive sites.  Living is also inexpensive in Bali with an average price of Euro200 per month for an air-con bedroom plus an attached bathroom near our Dive Centre.  When you are on a company dive, a good quality meal is provided free. There is also a fully paid 14-day annual leave.  Remuneration is based on commissions and augmented by a minimum monthly guaranteed income (+ work permit).

Our Instructors are amongst the highest paid in Bali.  The ONLY thing we ask is that you must not be afraid of hard-work –  this is critical (if you are afraid of harwork we are not the dive center for you and if we may say so and with due respect to everyone, there is a difference between “thinking you can work hard” to “being able to work hard”).  Everybody says that they can work hard, but when push comes to shove, they complain about too much hard work.
