About the Role
Blue Salt Divers is hiring a full-time PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) to join our growing team on the island of St. Croix. This is a professional, customer-facing position ideal for someone passionate about teaching, guiding, and living the dive lifestyle in one of the Caribbean’s most beautiful destinations.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead a variety of courses and dives, work with dive travel groups, and contribute to marine conservation efforts.

What You’ll Do – Instruction & Guiding:
Teach PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving through Divemaster
Lead daily boat dives and shore dives
Deliver engaging briefings and ensure diver safety and satisfaction
Guide private charters and group trips
Support Blue Salt Divers’ high standards in safety, service, and sustainability

Additional Opportunities:
Participate in local reef restoration and marine conservation dives
Assist with dive gear maintenance and daily boat logistics

What We’re Looking For – Required:
PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) or higher
Current CPR, First Aid & Emergency O2 Provider certifications
Strong customer service, communication, and team-oriented mindset
Must be legally authorised to work in the U.S. Virgin Islands
Available to start immediately

Preferred:
Prior experience working in the Caribbean or other tropical locations
MSDT or Speciality Instructor certifications
Nitrox Instructor certification
Boat handling or dive vessel experience
Passion for marine conservation and sustainable dive practices
