Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, South Caicos, is seeking an experienced Scuba Instructor to join our dynamic team. Position: Scuba Instructor

Location: South Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands

Qualifications:

• PADI OWSI and EFR Instructor
• 1+ years of teaching experience
• Willingness to commit to a 1-year contract
• Fluent in English
• Boating experience, with a preference for licensed boat captains
• Safety conscious, comfortable teaching in remote environments
• Nitrox and compressor operator experience is strongly preferred
• Interest in leading other nature tours including but not limited to kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, whalewatching, etc.

Adventure by Salterra team will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time) and taking a hands-on approach to their work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and 100 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping). Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for the Adventure by Salterra team- to get it right for our guests and our business each and every time.
