How do I create an Employer account and start posting jobs?
1. Sign Up for an Employer Account
Visit Scuba Jobs Worldwide and click the “Employer Sign Up” button. Enter your company details, create a password, and verify your email address.
2. Complete Your Company Profile
Set up your Dive Center, Resort, or Liveaboard profile by adding business details, location, website, and operational information. A complete profile increases trust and candidate applications.
3. Activate Lifetime Hiring Access (Payment Step)
To unlock full platform functionality, activate your Employer Account with a one-time payment. This removes all recurring subscription fees and gives you lifetime access to post unlimited jobs, internships, and Instructor Courses.
4. Post Your First Job or Course
Create detailed listings including role description, required certifications, experience level, location, contract type, and application instructions. You can also promote IDC programs and internships.
5. Manage Applications
Use your dashboard to review candidate applications, certifications, experience, and availability.
6. Hire Your Team
Connect directly with candidates, conduct interviews, and complete hiring arrangements through direct communication.
How does Lifetime Hiring Access and payment work?
Lifetime Hiring Access is a one-time activation fee that unlocks full employer functionality on the platform.
Once activated, you can:
- Post unlimited scuba jobs
- Post internships and IDC / instructor courses
- Manage applications directly from your dashboard
- Recruit globally without subscription renewals
There are no monthly or annual fees. This replaces traditional subscription-based job boards with a permanent access model.
Are there any commissions on IDC courses or training programs?
No. SJW operates as an independent recruitment infrastructure platform.
We charge 0% commission on IDC programs, internships, or training packages. Dive Centers keep 100% of their revenue.
How does the €3 Partner Referral Program work?
To join the Partner Referral Program, Dive Centers and IDC Centers must contact our team at sales@scuba-jobs-worldwide.com to be approved and activated.
Once approved, your center will receive a unique referral code / coupon linked to your account.
When students or candidates register on Scuba Jobs Worldwide using your code, your center earns a €3 commission per verified candidate.
In addition, candidates who sign up using your center’s code will automatically receive a 10% discount on Lifetime Career Access, helping you attract more students and increase enrollment conversions.
Payouts are processed monthly via PayPal or bank transfer once the minimum balance of €30 is reached.
Can one Employer account manage multiple locations?
Yes — one Employer account can manage multiple locations as long as they belong to the same company and legal entity.
This allows dive center groups, resort chains, and liveaboard operators to manage all their branches under one unified account while keeping job data organized per location.
However, separate companies or legally distinct entities require separate accounts to maintain accurate employer records and job listings.
How can I increase visibility for my job posts?
Standard listings are included in Lifetime Hiring Access.
Optional Boost features allow employers to highlight jobs at the top of search results during high-demand hiring seasons.
Is my profile permanent?
Lifetime Hiring Access is a one-time access purchases that provides an ongoing access to the platform without recurring subscription fees.
Your account remains active for the operational lifetime of the platform unless you request deletion or violate our Terms of Use.
To maintain platform quality, security, storage efficiency, and compliance with applicable privacy laws including GDPR data minimization principles, inactive accounts may be subject to content cleanup and archival policies.
Inactive Account Policy:
If an account remains inactive for an extended period, we may:
- Remove uploaded files and media including CVs, certifications, profile photos, attachments, and other stored documents
- Archive or hide inactive profiles from public visibility
- Remove outdated applications or inactive listing data
- Request confirmation before retaining certain personal data
Users may reactivate their account at any time by logging in or contacting support.
Lifetime access refers to continued access to the platform service itself and does not guarantee permanent storage of uploaded files, documents, or media.
Why Is SJW Not Open-Access?
Open-access job boards often struggle with spam, outdated listings, fake applications, and unverified profiles. This reduces trust and creates unnecessary workload for dive centers trying to recruit qualified professionals.
Originally, Scuba Jobs Worldwide operated on a pay per job post model, followed later by yearly subscription access. Over time, we found that recurring payment systems still did not fully solve the core problem of platform quality and long-term reliability.
To address this, we moved to a Lifetime Access model with a one-time payment.This allows us to focus on what actually matters:
