DIVE INSTRUCTOR & BOAT CREW WANTED NOW!

Our operation in Grand Cayman is seeking to expand the team and hire an OWSI+ instructor for full-time, year-round employment starting in November.

An ideal candidate should be flexible, eager to learn, team player mindset and enthusiastic and is willing to grow with our family at Sunset Divers and isn’t afraid of hard work and a 2-year commitment.

Our utmost priority is safety, followed closely by exceptional customer service.

Duties include:
boat crew, guiding dives from boat or shore, teaching (all courses and specialities if you have them!), filling tanks, general duties around the dive shop and the inglorious jobs which help contribute to supporting the dive shop.

Sunset House is a hotel for divers, by divers, and our divers are mostly in-house guests, but are not limited to visitors on the island and residents. Our guests are primarily repeat guests, groups, families and single divers.

The fine print:
It’s hard work, we work 5 days a week (6 if needed), physically fit to carry 2 x 80cf tanks repeatedly, 25 years of age or older (insurance reasons), clean driver’s license and drive manual, clean medical and criminal record (work permit requirements). Good standing with PADI.

We offer uniforms, medical, pension, paid work permit, group liability insurance, a monthly salary, and weekly tips. Housing, food, and transportation to/from Grand Cayman are your responsibility.
