Free Tec Diving Instructor Internship May-Sep/Oct 2026 in Nikiti, Greece!
Join Our 13 edition of the Technical Diving Internship.
Advance your skills from PADI Discover Tec Diver to Trimix Instructor with our comprehensive, fee-free internship program. Beyond diving, you will gain hands-on experience on the business side of the industry, learning to establish and manage a successful family-run diving centre. Outstanding candidates may be offered a paid position at our centers for the following season.
Other diver or instructor courses and partial internships are available upon request.
Location: The beautiful Nikiti, Sithonia, Halkidiki, Greece. Enjoy an international, friendly environment, organic Greek cuisine, and a vibrant culture in a very safe, low-crime area.
Duration: Late April/Early May – late September/mid-October.

This is not a paid job position. This program is designed for individuals with the time and resources to invest in their education, aiming to develop the expertise needed for a professional career or for opening their own dive shop.
All programs are free of charge in exchange for full-time participation during the summer season (May–October), with no salary.
Note: We operate in a people-oriented business. We have a zero-tolerance policy for conflict, racism, discrimination, nationalism, or drug use. Candidates who regularly engage in “heavy party” drinking will be expelled.
What You Will Learn
Experience a “zero to hero” technical diving journey. You will gain experience with real customers, learn to manage a dive center, and conduct various programs—all under the mentorship of Michael, PADI Instructor Trainer and Founder/Co-owner of Atlantis Diving Center.
Requirements:
Citizenship: EU citizens – full season. Citizens of the UK, USA, Australia, North Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, and Moldova may participate for up to 90 days per EU visa regulations.
Qualifications:
Renewed PADI OWSI or MSDT with valid international insurance (including Tec diving).
Equipment:
Must own full recreational gear (Technical gear is an advantage).
Languages:
Fluent English is mandatory. Proficiency in French, German, Romanian, Bulgarian, Dutch, Greek, or Serbian at a teaching level is a significant plus.

What We Offer:
Tec Courses:
Tec Deep (40/45/50), Tec Trimix (65/90+) on Backmount or Sidemount.
Introduction to Rebreathers.
Instructor Training:
MSDT (limited), Tec Deep, Tec Trimix, and Tec Sidemount Instructor. For Divemaster: OWSI and Speciality Instructor training.
Business Training:
Dive center organization, management, administration, and sales techniques.
Hands-on Practice:
Guiding dives, conducting DSD programs, and managing center operations.

What We Expect:
Full Commitment: Hard work and active participation in all diving center activities.
Instruction:
Conducting courses, DSDs, and guiding (typically 2 dives per day).
Logistics:
Tank filling, loading/unloading equipment (vans/beach), and gear maintenance for the center and customers.
Professionalism:
A friendly, honest, and loyal attitude toward the team and guests.
Driving:
Operating minivans for guests and equipment transport.
Note: Partial 3-month internships cover Air/Nitrox tec diver and instructor courses.
