Dhigurah Maldives Job
PADI Instructors wanted in the Maldives (July start) – Diving Instructor & instructor positions/Marine biologist/conservationist

We are a small yet busy dive centre located on Dhigurah in the South Ari Atoll. Situated on a local island in the heart of the Whale Shark area, we have some of the best diving the Maldives has to offer. We have regular sightings of Whale Sharks, Mantas as well as a variety of many other amazing creatures. We offer low ratio groups with a high standard of customer service to provide the best possible experience for our guests.

We are looking for instructors with the following attributes:
– Fluent in English (additional languages including Spanish, German or French is a plus but not essential)
– Active PADI teaching status (with Nitrox specialty rating)
– Minimum 2 years experience as active dive professional.
– Professional attitude with a strong customer orientated work ethic
– Safety and environmentally conscious
– Easy going, flexible and adaptable
– Experience in the Maldives or in current is a plus.
– Dive instuctor with Marine biologi, interest should be able to deliver presentation.
– Comfortable living in a small & quiet island community and respectful of local culture

Daily tasks include:
– Guiding certified divers
– Teaching a variety of PADI courses
– Guiding snorkelers
– Up keep and maintenance at the dive base
– Loading/unloading the boat & washing equipment
– Daily megafauna presentations for our guests, briefing code of conduct and appropriately reporting megafauna encounters with research charities within the Maldives
