Scuba Instructor / Full Cave

POSITION OVERVIEW
As part of the development of its activities in Mexico, DUNE Mexico – Playa del Carmen is recruiting a certified Full Cave Scuba Instructor. This is a field-based position involving the supervision of both recreational and technical dives, primarily in cenotes, as well as ocean dives (Playa del Carmen and Cozumel), while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer experience.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervision of recreational dives in Playa del Carmen and Cozumel
• Guiding cenote dives (cavern and cave depending on client certifications)
• Preparation and organization of daily operations: briefings, logistics, equipment
• Adapting dive plans according to conditions (weather, visibility, diver level)
• Ensuring strict compliance with safety standards (PADI and local regulations)
• Participation in daily dive center operations
• Teaching and conducting courses (depending on qualifications)
• Maintaining high-quality customer experience and representing DUNE Mexico standards

PROFILE REQUIRED

• PADI OWSI (minimum)
• Full Cave certification (mandatory)
• Proven experience in cenote diving (cavern and cave)
• Strong knowledge of Riviera Maya dive sites (highly appreciated)
• Excellent group management and strong safety mindset
• Autonomous, reliable and professional
• Ability to adapt and handle unexpected situations
• Fluent in French, English and Spanish (mandatory)
• High availability and flexibility, especially during high season
