PADI Instructor (On or Moving To Big Island) wanted NOW!

$22.00 – $25.00 / hour
Instructor Credentials:
EFR, OWSI
Language requirement:
English

Join our high-quality team at Hilo Ocean Adventures. We offer shore diving, boat diving, PADI courses, and Avelo. Our pay is competitive with commission, staff receive free ocean adventure rentals, and the team is friendly and pono. Our shop is a multipurpose facility offering more than just diving: kayak, paddleboard, snorkeling, and whale-watching adventures along with swim lessons to all ages.

We would prefer someone who already lives on the Big Island or is planning on moving here soon, as we like to conduct in-person interviews for positions.

Qualifications:

• PADI OWSI or higher
• Safety oriented
• High quality customer service
• Certified in First Aid & CPR and Oxygen provider
• In good standing with no recorded violations or quality assurance issues
• Respect of Hawaiian culture and heritage
• Respect for ‘aina and kai.
• US citizen or green card for employment
• Current driver’s license
• Pre-employment “negative” drug test prior to employment or equivalent documentation.
