Coral Reef Park Co, Inc in Bahia Honda is seeking a skilled Snorkel Boat Mate to join our team. We are looking for individual(s) with personable, outgoing personalities who have a background in customer service. The ideal candidate will assist in the operation and maintenance of our snorkel boat, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers. Health Benefits Are offered to full-time and part-time employees. Very Competitive pay plus tips, with time and a half offered after 40 hours. Must be able to work weekends and holidays at times.

Duties:

– Assist in the preparation and maintenance of snorkel boat

– Fit customers for snorkel equipment, manage equipment and gear on board

– Ensure the safety of passengers during boat trips

– Maintain the boat in a safe, operable and clean condition.

Assist in all embarkation and debarkation operations. IE., handling lines.
Back up the captain, relieving him when so ordered.
Assist captain in upholding all USCG and other operational requirements.
Open the boat at the beginning of the day and close the boat at the end of the day.
Help in the necessary preparations to ensure passing of all USCG inspections.
Required License/Certifications:

– Padi First Aid and CPR, Current within 12 months

– Dive Master or Scuba Instructor Certification

– Dive Master or Scuba Instructor Certification Membership paid and Current

– Dive mater or Scuba instructor professional liability insurance and current

– Diver’s Alert Network Membership paid and current
