Unique management opportunity in outer-island Fiji!

We are looking for a Dive Instructor (individual or couple willing to split the salary) with knowledge of boats to join our management team (minimum two-year contract). Work closely with the Fijian/Australian GM and the two Californian Directors to supervise, manage, and lead the stellar Fijian iTaukei staff. Salary is negotiable up to FJD 100,000+ depending upon experience and expertise. All room and board are provided and there is a very liberal leave policy.

Manage the PADI 5-star operation of a boutique upscale eco-resort that puts personnel over profits. (A Dive Instructor, three Divemasters, 2 Snorkel Guides, 7 Boats and Captains, 1 Mechanic).  Looking for an experienced, organized, self-motivated, and positive person who can manage all aspects of dive & snorkel operation—i.e., dive personnel and equipment, safety, compliance, boat maintenance (outboard motors), and boat captains/mechanics—and have some fun out on the water with guests while earning commission.

We are in the Kadavu area—far from the nightlife of the big island. This is our 10th year, and the current dive management has grown our operation to PADI 5 Star status. (And we took on more boats!) We’re losing this couple at the end of 2026 due to personal matters and are looking for an individual or a couple to replace them who can also manage the boats. We’ll pay for your work visa and bond if you stay for at least two years, and we’ll pay your PADI dues after one year.

You must be comfortable with remote island work conditions and six-day work weeks between your very liberal leave times. (As long as the dive operation is running smoothly, you can explore.) We work hard but have a lot of fun while doing it with the amazing group of people that might become your team and your peers.

Preferred Qualifications and Personality Traits
Prior dive shop management experience. PADI MSDT, EFR & O2 Provider. Knowledge of compressors, equipment, boats, outboards, and maintenance. Social media skills are a plus.

Problem solver. Self-motivated. Highly Organized.  A Leader.  Kind but firm. Calm. Safety-minded. (Military background a plus)  Must speak English and must love Fiji culture!
