It’s undeniable – the world of closed-circuit rebreathers (CCRs) is experiencing an exciting surge!
Every time we’re out exploring a dive site, it feels like more and more divers are embracing the silent, extended adventures that CCRs offer. This isn’t just a hunch; it’s a thrilling shift we’re witnessing first-hand in the diving community.
The expanded bottom time, unparalleled gas efficiency, and the incredible silence of a rebreather dive truly transform the underwater experience. It’s no wonder more divers are leaping!
This got us thinking: What rebreather model are you diving, and what factors sealed the deal for your choice?

Here at Scuba Jobs Worldwide, we recently navigated this exciting decision ourselves. Our primary contenders were the JJ-CCR and the SF2. After careful consideration, we ultimately chose the SF2. The key factors that swayed our decision were its reputation for being exceptionally user-friendly and the significant advantage of having potential dive buddies already proficient with the SF2 system. This alignment meant smoother, safer, and more enjoyable dives right from the start.

Now it’s your turn to share! We’re incredibly eager to hear about your experiences and insights.
